Ciaossu,
Hey people, I haven't been blogging for a long long time. Exams are just around the corner I'm seriously LAGGING behind. The June holidays are simply too short and I feel as though I haven't really rested. I've also been feeling very lethargic ever since school started in the new term. However, I've found something that cheers me up without fail everyday.

My school rears stray cats in the carpark at the basement. Most of the cats there are quite moody and try to avoid humans but guess what? There's a new addition to the Cat family! A black and white kitten called Alekie was found on the second storey of the admin block of my school recently and was adopted by the cleaners. He's so adorable and he's not even 2 months old yet. When they found him, his eyes were still unable to be opened and he did not have any sharp teeth. Now, he's growing at an alarming rate. He's extremely active and chases after his toys with such energy, I feel old!

Alekie can be quite violent sometimes when he gets too excited while playing. He enjoys biting fingers and playing hide-and-seek. However, if you spend more time with him and he gets to know you better, he will obediently sit on your lap and let you stroke him. His paws are so tiny and when they brush against my sides, it's really ticklish. AWWWW, I really love cats:D

There's another fat cat called Whisky staying in my school compound. She can be quite temperamental sometimes and she's afraid of almost everything. She's a ginger cat with a really pretty coat so I like to call her Garfield since she is quite "fat" and enjoys lazing in the sun. She doesn't chase after toys and is relatively inactive. Well, enough about the cats. Their caretakers are also awesome people.

Mari, a cleaner in my school tells me a lot of interesting stories about her life. I'm enjoy talking to her during my free times while Alekie looks at me jealously when my attention is not on him. While we talk, he'll suddenly jump onto my lap, haha:D So cute! Anyway, Mari is the main caretaker for all the cats at the basement and she's really patient with them. She's really a cat person through and through!

Oh gosh, it's quite late. I have to go~ Hope I'll get more chances to blog in future, but with such a busy schedule, this seems impossible... Well anyways, pets are indeed companions that comfort you in times of sadness. They are there to share your joy when you succeed in something. I hope more people will gain joy from these furry balls of comfort and I look forward to a beautiful day tomorrow, and the day after, and the many other days after:D

God Bless,

Elizabeth^^
